Our Privacy Manifesto
At Ring Ring Club, we believe your home should be a sanctuary. Our services are operated by CP Impact LLC, a Pennsylvania limited liability company doing business as Ring Ring Club (“Ring Ring Club,” “we,” “us,” or “our”).
We built this Club because we wanted a way for our own children to connect without being tracked, profiled, or harvested for data. Our privacy policy is simple: We collect only what is necessary to make the phone ring.
Information We Collect
When you join the Club or purchase hardware from our store, we collect the following information:
Account Data: Name, billing address, service address (required for E911), and email address.
The "Circle of Trust": The names and phone numbers you manually enter into your Dashboard for your child's approved contact list.
Browsing Data: When you visit our website, we automatically receive your computer's internet protocol (IP) address to provide us with information that helps us learn about your browser and operating system for site optimization.
Site & Product Analytics: To learn what's working on our website and fix the confusing parts, we use Google Analytics 4 and Microsoft Clarity. These set cookies and measure things like pages viewed, clicks, and (for Clarity) anonymized, masked recordings of on-site activity, with typed text and sensitive fields masked out. We never use them for advertising, and we never connect them to your child's phone or calls. In the EU, UK, EEA, and Switzerland they stay off until you opt in; everywhere else you can opt out at any time, and Clarity's session recording only runs after you explicitly accept.
Referral & Advocate Attribution: If you arrive through a member's referral link, a Community Advocate link, or a school fundraising link, we store the associated code in a first-party cookie on your device (typically for up to 90 days) so we can credit the referring member, advocate, or partner if you place an order. This code is attached to your order for attribution only; it is not used to build a marketing profile, and the purchase is tracked whether or not a discount is applied.
Email Marketing: With your express permission, we may send you emails about the Club, new hardware drops, and community updates.
Your choices
Analytics is optional, and you can change your mind whenever you like. Your choice is saved on your device, and saying no never changes how the site or your phone works.
Consent and COPPA Compliance
How do you get my consent? When you provide personal information to complete a transaction, verify your credit card (via Stripe), place an order, or arrange for a delivery, we imply that you consent to our collecting it and using it for that specific reason only.
Children's Privacy (COPPA)
The Ring Ring Club is designed to be fully compliant with the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA).
No Direct Collection: We do not knowingly collect personal information directly from children. Our hardware (the Bridge and handsets) is a "dumb" interface that does not prompt for data.
Parental Control: Only a verified parent or guardian can create an account and manage the "Approved Contacts" list.
No Monitoring: We do not record, monitor, or "listen in" on the content of voice conversations.
Closed Loop: Our network only allows calls from numbers you have explicitly approved, shielding your child's number from the public internet and automated crawlers.
Data Storage and Infrastructure
Our member dashboard and store are hosted on Vercel, and our payment processing is handled by Stripe.
A. Payments. Your payment data is encrypted through the Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard (PCI-DSS). Your purchase transaction data is stored only as long as is necessary to complete your purchase transaction. Ring Ring Club does not store your credit card information on our own servers.
B. Hosting. Your account data is stored in PostgreSQL databases managed by Supabase, our hosting partner, protected by industry-standard firewalls, row-level security policies, and TLS encryption in transit.
C. Mobile app data. When you use the Ring Ring iOS or Android app, we also receive a push-notification token (from Apple Push Notification service or Google Firebase Cloud Messaging) so we can alert you when your child's phone goes offline or needs attention. We never use push tokens for advertising or share them with third parties for that purpose. Your phone's address book is only read when you choose to import a contact into your Trusted Circle, and nothing is uploaded until you pick who.
Third-Party Services
In general, the third-party providers used by us will only collect, use, and disclose your information to the extent necessary to allow them to perform the services they provide to us.
However, certain third-party service providers, such as payment gateways (Stripe) and telecommunications carriers (Twilio/Telnyx), have their own privacy policies. For these providers, we recommend that you read their privacy policies so you can understand the manner in which your personal information will be handled by these providers.
Analytics providers. When you allow analytics, Google Analytics 4 (Google LLC) and Microsoft Clarity (Microsoft Corporation) process limited, pseudonymous information about your visit (pages viewed, clicks, approximate location from your IP, and, for Clarity, masked recordings of on-site activity) so we can improve the site. They act as our data processors; we do not sell this information, and we never grant either provider advertising or ad-personalization access. You can review their practices in the Google and Microsoft privacy statements, or turn analytics off at any time from the “Your choices” controls in Section 2.
Affiliate links. Ring Ring Club participates in the Amazon Associates Program and the eBay Partner Network. When you click certain phone-recommendation links on our site (clearly labeled with “Amazon” or “eBay” buttons), we may earn a small commission if you make a purchase. The commission is paid by the merchant and never adds to your cost. We only recommend phones we believe pair well with our Bridge adapter. We do not share any personal information about you with these affiliates beyond the standard click referral that your browser sends.
Our referral & Community Advocate program. Separately, Ring Ring Club operates its own referral and Community Advocate program in which members can share a personal link. When you visit through such a link, we set a first-party cookie so that any purchase you make can be attributed back to that member or advocate, whether or not a discount is applied. We share only aggregate figures (for example, the number of purchases credited to a member) with the referring member or advocate; we never disclose your name, contact details, or the specifics of your order to them.
Security
To protect your personal information, we take reasonable precautions and follow industry best practices to make sure it is not inappropriately lost, misused, accessed, disclosed, altered, or destroyed.
Encryption: All communication between your browser and our website is encrypted using secure socket layer technology (SSL). Voice signaling between your Ring Ring Club hardware and our network is similarly encrypted to prevent unauthorized interception.
Data Retention: We Don't Keep It Forever
“We believe that data you don't have can't be stolen.”
Call Metadata. We retain logs of call times and durations for 90 days for billing and troubleshooting purposes. After 90 days, this data is anonymized.
Account Termination. If you cancel your membership, your personal data and your "Circle of Trust" are purged from our active systems within 30 days.
Your Rights and Contact Information
You have the right to access, correct, or delete the personal information we hold about you at any time. If you would like to exercise these rights, register a complaint, or simply want more information, please contact our Privacy Compliance Officer:
