    Curated kits ship pre configured. The Modern Kit uses Wi-Fi. The Nostalgic Kit and Bridge plug into your router or mesh unit.

    Set your circle

    From the parent app or your dashboard, define the numbers your kids can call. If a number is not on the list, the phone does not ring.

    Let them talk

    Kids pick up the handset and dial their friends. No notifications. No strangers. Just talking.

This isn't really about a phone.

A corded phone stays in the house, introducing natural, physical boundaries that restore the home as a sanctuary.

Our kids learn to have a conversation without a screen attached. They listen deeper, ask questions, look up. They give slightly older kids independence without the pressure of texting, apps, or late night scrolling.

What is the difference between the Modern Kit and the Nostalgic Kit?

The Modern Kit ($75) is a single Wi-Fi handset. Plug it into power, sign in, and it works. The Nostalgic Kit ($89) is a brand new classic trimline pre wired with our Bridge adapter, for families who want a real corded phone on a kitchen counter. The Nostalgic Kit needs an open router or mesh-network port for the Bridge.

Do I need a Bridge if I have the Modern Kit?

No. The Modern Kit is a self contained Wi-Fi phone. The Bridge is only needed if you want to use an analogue phone you already own, or if you pick the Nostalgic Kit. Bridge setups connect to your router or mesh unit with Ethernet.

Will my old rotary phone really work?

Yes. The Bridge handles pulse to tone conversion, so your kid can spin the dial and the call goes through. Tested with phones from the 1950s through the 1990s.

What can I do on the free Starter plan?

Unlimited calling to anyone else in the Ring Ring Club, up to nine quick dial slots, and your dashboard. The paid plan adds calling to any US or Canadian number outside the Club, and adds 9-1-1.

Do I get a Canadian phone number?

Yes. Paid-plan lines for Canadian households get a real 10-digit Canadian number matched to your area, so friends and grandparents dial a local number, not a US one.

Who can hear my kid’s calls? Are they recorded?

We do not record, transcribe, or listen to live calls. If you turn voicemail on, voicemails are stored privately in your account and only you can play them back. We never listen. Call metadata (who, when, how long) is kept so it shows up in your dashboard. That is all.

Can I cancel any time? What about a refund?

Yes, cancel any month from your dashboard. No calls, no retention scripts. Hardware has a 30 day money back return; ship it back and we refund the kit. After 30 days the device is yours to keep, and it still works on the free Starter plan if you ever drop the paid subscription.

What currency are prices in, and will I owe duties at the door?

Prices are in US dollars — your card is charged in USD and your bank converts at its usual rate. We ship to Canada with duties and taxes prepaid (DDP): the checkout price is the full landed cost, your package clears customs before delivery, and nobody knocks on your door asking for money. The $8.95 USD is the $8.95 USD.

Does 9-1-1 actually work in Canada?

Yes, on the paid plan — with important differences from a traditional landline. Ring Ring Club is an internet-based phone service, so your 9-1-1 call routes through a third-party emergency provider using your registered service address, and it will not work during a power or internet outage. Please read the full disclosure at ringringclub.com/ca/911 before relying on the phone in an emergency.

What happens if a stranger or unknown number dials in?

It does not ring. The phone only rings for numbers you have added to the allowed list in your dashboard. Everyone else gets a not in service tone or voicemail (your choice). No spam calls, no scam calls, no "is your refrigerator running" at dinner. That is the whole point.
